Frequently Asked Questions
DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER? IF SO, WHO IS IT?
I almost always recommend having a second shooter, especially if you have a ton of details you want to capture or if your wedding attendees are over 100 or more. Most of my wedding collections include a second shooter. My second shooter is always another experienced professional photographer, who works really well with me and knows how to have a good time!
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL YOU RECEIVE AND WHEN WILL I GET THEM?
It depends. Every wedding varies, but I always promise 300 high-resolution images. The amount may be higher if you have a larger bridal party, a ton of details, or a large list of family shots you want to capture. My contract says a “sneak peek”, consisting of 5-10 images, will be delivered within 48 hours after your wedding day and the full gallery will be delivered in 8-10 weeks following your wedding day.
CAN WE PROVIDE YOU WITH A “SHOT LIST” OF MUST-HAVE PHOTOS?
YES! Please! I highly recommend having a shot list of details or special moments that you want captured. I tend to always overshoot, but if there is something specific during your day that is near and dear to heart that you want to remember forever, please include it! (nothing is too small) I require a “posed” family shot list. This list will save a ton of time the day of. If you need help with these things, don’t hesitate to ask!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY ENGAGEMENT/PORTRAIT SESSION?
I always tell clients to wear something they feel most comfortable in and colors they look best in. Flowy dresses or skirts photograph really well, especially if there is a little wind the day of your shoot. I also suggest that you and your significant other don't necessarily match, but do coordinate. If you are wearing a pattern, have your significant other wear a solid color. I am happy to give suggestions to wardrobe selections, just ask!
CAN I BRING ALONG OUR FAMILY PET?
Yes, of course! I love to include pets in all sessions!
DO I PROVIDE A PRINT RELEASE OF OUR IMAGES?
Yes, you will receive a print release with your images and you can print wherever you’d like.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?
Not for portrait sessions. Amount due the day of the portrait session. I do require a 25% deposit for wedding collections.Yes, you will receive a print release with your images and you can print wherever you’d like.
